Interesting–I hadn’t thought of the overall composition as modern and vintage but I do see it now, and I’m pleased with it. That’s exactly what our day was about yesterday. I could tell you more, tell you why, but that might spoil the fun of the images and their interplay. So I’m going to leave it up to visitors to make of them what they will.

Thanks, Beth. I hadn’t intended the colour scheme when I started out, but when I put all the photos of the day together, there was a lot of warmth, even in the photos that weren’t all red. So I felt they went well together. Now I’m wondering if I can challenge myself to apply a unity of tonal harmony to each day’s photos.
